CONGRATULATIONS!

You've completed Drawtober 2025!!

Welcome to February’s Environment Challenge!

Four weeks, four backgrounds (or more, if you want to really push yourself), FOUR OF YOUR OWN COMIC STYLE!-At least one choice of environment from the list of prompts per week.
-Each environment can be either a) a splash page, or b) separated into a maximum of 4 panels with different angles and panel sizes.
-There is a tracing / follow thru prompt option (or two) if you feel like it; this will assist in just getting a feel of drawing an environment if you aren’t used to it. But you are also welcome to draw it on your own without tracing 🙂
-There is a compiled list of references posted for each week for inspiration! I will do my best to make sure the artist’s name/tag is on it, in case their stuff catches your eye.
-Sketching out a bird’s eye view of your environment can help pinpoint perspective shots.
-Black and white, greys, full color, limited color palette, etc. Do these environments in how you would love to see them. Use black shadows to your advantage!
-Each week will increase in difficulty, from basic fundamentals to details, details, d e t a i l s. >:) Week 4 will be the only week where drawing a character in is mostly encouraged. If the other ideas look like they should have a creature or two, go for whatever your creative liberties decide!
-Use the buttons below to find each week's prompts! This page would be MASSIVE if it wasn't split up like this 😅
